Over the last two years we have been actively been shooting movies either on our photoshoots where we shoot lots of behind the scenes footage or shooting directly with client products which can greatly enhance the quality of the product for the client. Ive finally put a collection of some of our films stills together in this little online movie thumbnails book.

Finally managed to find the time to put together our USA travel book.

When on the road I always love carrying a camera with me. I suppose thats what photographers do.

With quite a large collection of images Im slowly bringing out different editions for different countries and locations.

I hope you like them and its nice to see them in book form.

Its great to shoot location! Models jumping all over the place and screaming at you….

Lighting for this shoot was simply my micro kit consisting of three SB800s on stands and a Nikon D700. F8 250 to catch just a hint of movement.

This was a great client photoshoot.

The first shoots since PoutStudios has had its makeover this being one of our first sets. Using our new chroma background system who came in for some brand new new PR images. Im glad Ive been collecting background images from all over the world as now they are coming in handy!

Elle Sport BTS location pictures

Just got back from shooting the Elle Sport SS12. We shot in the area of Dungeness and Lydd On Sea. The weather was mixed but the job was done. Its a super great location to shoot sportswear as can be seen from the images taken on the iPhone.

Here are a few movie stills from a movie we’ve just shot for Hayley Menzies Designer featuring Sophie Anderton. We spent the day in and around shooting in Portobello road. We also had a little fun with the Paparazzi following us about the place. The movie is now in edit and will be available in the next few weeks but thought a couple of stills going out wouldn’t hurt!

A little mountain air.

I’ve been sitting on this video and found it in my archives while having a computer files sort out as you do! Thought I would tweek it a little run it through Final cut and plonk it on Vimeo.

This video shows me in one of my favourite locations. I like to travel light and all I had for this shoot was my trusty Mamiya ZD 22 MP camera and normal lens.

Elle Sport AW11

The new Elle Sport catalogue AW11 was shot over two very cold days near Leicester with our model Alicia braving the English weather. The great thing about shooting these catalogues is that it keeps us fit with having to keep up with the model. Personally I really enjoy shooting in the English countryside as England has so much to offer.

On the technical side this shoot was pretty simple with a collection of high powered flash units and assistants running around!

Its coming up to sunny locations shots in the sun again and Im ready and waiting. New lighter and more powerful kit in the bag thanks to Quantum flash. Four HD video cameras and a waterproof one. Brand new computer system so I can now do full RAW photo and HD video edits on location instead of waiting to get back to the studio to edit on a powerful computer (Gives me something to do in the hotel room at nights instead of enjoying myself on location ummmmm!) The first four shoots are being planned as I blog right now so expect more HD videos and images….
