Over the last two years we have been actively been shooting movies either on our photoshoots where we shoot lots of behind the scenes footage or shooting directly with client products which can greatly enhance the quality of the product for the client. Ive finally put a collection of some of our films stills together in this little online movie thumbnails book.

Playboy 1960s London Club

We had to recreate a London Playboy Club changing room from the 1960s for an advertising shoot. We purposely selected models and actresses who had that typical 1960s look. All were professionals. We also shot a little video as an extra to go with it.

Cold London

This is how I see London. Great city with anything available just outside my door. So lucky to live here. Its great for shoot locations. Sometimes you don’t appreciate it simply because it is just outside my door! Just gotta get out and use it more.

This is London

The dark cold alleyways,
The cold cobbled streets,
The hum of the city,
This is London

As dawn breaks slowly,
And lights the dark city,
Civilians rush about in a hurry,
This is London

The blaring of horns,
The air of fumes,
The smell of dampness
This is London

The tourists flock from all directions,
Getting their memorable moments captured,
Big Ben towers over the old tired buildings,
This is London

Double deckers rush by
As do taxis
People running, always running
This is London

The Eye glares slowly out across the river
Buckingham guards carefully over the Queen
The chapels in Kensington packed to the rafters
This is London

Beggars lie in the street
Half heartedly cupping their hands
Booths with advertisements for all kinds of action
This is London

Never a dull moment
Never a quiet one
Not here where people are running
Always running
London

Sometimes we film our photoshoots, sometimes we don’t, here are some we have over the last twelve months. Sometimes I film, sometimes I give the camera to somebody else to film.
That’s what makes it interesting.

Here is a little glamourtorial video we did while on a recent photo shoot in Corsica.
Filmed on my Hacked GH1 using nikon 24mm 2.8 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.4 lenses with a loosely held steady cam. Goodness I love this camera!
