Tailor James has just launched her new website. A very cool Canadian model who just so happens to grace the pages of Playboy having been Playmate of the month and also the year. She is such a nice girl to work with! I was lucky to work with her in California recently. Rumor has it she may be making it over to the UK shortly. A simple shot this taken from the archives. Its one of those shots that seems to get better with age and its great sometimes to return to one of the older images and give it a fresh coat of paint so to say. A simple Bowens sunlight dish with a soft diffuser was used as can be seen in the eyes to bring out the great contours of the models face.

Contax 645 with a Phase one 21P and 120mm macro lens.

Claire Evans former Miss Wales and girl friend of Welsh rugby Mike Phillips. Claire Has just clinched the prestigious Miss Hawaiian tropic crown which means she will be swanning off to the USA later in the year to compete for the world title.

Claire is a bit of a sports woman originally coming from Aberystwyth and I know we are going to see alot more of her in the future.

Jenny Frost for Playboy Bunny Bra.

Had the pleasure of Jenny Frost in the studio to shoot the new Bunny Bra for Playboy/Littlewoods. Jenny can’t only sing but is also a super model as she really knows how to work in front of the camera. I wish all models were as good as her! Incidently the mirror in the shot had to be specially built to give it that 60′s feel so running around the week before to find the bits and pieces was lots of fun. It now sits on my studio wall and we’ve called it Chernobyl due to the power and heat it generates when turned on…..

The lighting we used to light the shot was a combination of HMI’s and Arri 650′s and had to be carefully placed so as to light both subject and reflection. Even though it was composed together after it’s good to get it right on the shoot.
